Thinking of people; among us are people with health vulnerabilities or who care for people with health vulnerabilities - we don’t want to put anyone at risk
Thinking of business continuity; if we’re in close contact, one person getting it could mean it spreading through the agency. As well as being awful for the people, this would have a large impact on delivering our services.
a lot of experts are surprised the government isn’t already recommending this
we know there will be a few hiccups as we first settle into agency-wide remote working, so we decided take them on proactively
it’s seems likely the government will announce a similar measure soon anyway, and when they do it may be at the same time as school closures - let’s get this set up before that happens!
