HOUSE OF LECHON
House of Lechon is one of the best places to try Cebu's famous lechon (roasted pig). The meat is soft and tasty, and the skin is super crispy. The place has a warm, local feel and is great for groups or family meals.
Eating here was a highlight of my Cebu trip. The lechon was so delicious full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The place felt welcoming, and I could really taste the local culture in the food:
SUGBO MERCADO
Sugbo Mercado is a weekend food market in IT Park. It has many food stalls that sell grilled food, snacks, desserts, drinks, and more. There's music, lights, and a fun vibe that makes it great for hanging out at night.
I loved walking around and trying small bites from different stalls. The food was yummy and affordable. It felt like a food party, and the live music made the night even more fun.
SIOMAI SA TISA
Siomai sa Tisa is ome of Cebu's most famous street food spots, known for its tasty and afforable siomai. Located in Barangay Tisa, this area turns into a lively food strip, especially at night. The siomai is usually served with puso and you can top it off with chili sauce, soy sauce, and calamansi.
The smell of freshly steamed siomai and the energy of the crowd made it feel like a mini food festival. I lobed how soft and flavorful the siomai was, especially when dipped in chili garlic sauce. Eating there made me feel more connected to Cebu's local food scene.
