The CMP Behavior Change Working Group was formed during the development of the Conservation Standards version 5.0 to provide recommendations for incorporating behavior change approaches. Building on that work, the group has been focused on developing practical guidance, tools, and real-world examples to help practitioners apply behavior change concepts and methods throughout the Conservation Standards cycle. If you have any questions for the group or would like to get involved, please contact Varsha Suresh at varsha@fosonline.org.
The Conservation Measures Partnership (CMP) is a global community of NGOs, government agencies, and private businesses working together to design, manage, and measure conservation action. Guided by the Conservation Standards, CMP members collaborate to share knowledge, adopt best practices, and avoid ineffective approaches—ultimately enhancing conservation efficiency and innovation worldwide. For general questions about CMP and how to get involved in the community, please reach out to CMPinfo@ConservationMeasures.org.
