Change your speaker volume:
To control how loud or soft others sound to you, adjust your speaker, headphone, or other output volume.
At the bottom right, select the time.
Drag the volume slider left or right.
Tip: To mute the volume, select Volume .
To find your speaker output settings, select Audio settings .
Under “Output,” the device in use will have a green check to the right.

Change your screen brightness:
To control the brightness of your Chromebook screen, use the shortcut keys on the keyboard, or access brightness controls in settings.
At the bottom right, select the time.
Drag the brightness slider left or right.
Tip: You can also adjust these settings with brightness keys
If you still don't see anything, try restarting or turning on your Chromebook.
Tip: Make sure your Chromebook is fully charged.

Turn on Wi-Fi:
At the bottom right, select the time.
Select Not Connected (Wi-Fi symbol).
Note: If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.
Turn on Wi-Fi.
Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks.
Connect to a network:
Choose an available Wi-Fi network nearby.

Test your audio and video:
Join a meeting and click the gear icon for "Settings."
Click "Audio," and choose your settings.
Click "Test." You'll hear a chime and a recording of your audio.

After joining a meeting, click Test Speaker and Microphone.
A ringtone will play. Click "yes" if you hear it. Click "no" if you don't,
Then, speak into your microphone. Zoom will replay your audio.
Click "yes" if you hear your voice. Click "no" if you don't.
Change your audio and video settings as needed.
Then, click Join with Computer Audio to join the meeting with those settings.

Make sure your device is plugged in:
Fully plug the charger into the Chromebook and a wall outlet
Make sure the power outlet is working correctly
Try using the charger on a difference device to see if the charger is malfunctioning
Charge your device for at least 30 minutes:
Once your device is charging, let it charge for at least 30 minutes before you begin using it
