I love all the parts of teaching US History! Love talking about our people, places, and events that helped create America. America is the good, the bad, and the ugly! We hit it all. Current Events will be so exciting to teach this year with all that is happening here and around the world. Getting students interested in the politics, economics, and social aspects of the news.

I grew up in Fort Smith and graduated from Northside. I went on to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I have taught in Little Rock, Dallas and Chicago before coming back to Arkansas. My husband and father run a small business here. My daughter graduated from SHS and the University of Arkansas she is working on her CPA and MBA while being a Tax Acct. for WalMart. My son attends SHS and is an avid baseball player and serves Southside as its President of Student Council.
