Junior High String Audition Information
Junior High String Audition Information
Cadet and Concert students will perform 2 excerpts and 1 scale. For the JH Cadet orchestra only, a first dice roll will determine whether “La Cucaracha” or “Listen to the Mockingbird” will be performed. A second dice roll for the JH Cadet orchestra will determine whether “Danse Macabre” or “Jolly Sailor” will be performed. To facilitate the selection of a variety of audition material, the dice will be rolled for each instrument at each grade level (HS Symphonic, JH Concert, JH Cadet).

Senior High String Audition Information
Senior High String Audition Information
Each student at the Symphonic level of All Region auditions will perform 1 etude, 1 excerpt, and 1 scale. The orchestra excerpt is required of all instruments and the dice roll selection will determine between the 2 etudes. For HS Symphonic All-Region Strings Auditions, B minor and F# minor scales cannot be selected.
