Junior High Strings
Cadet Orchestra
Major Scales are 2-octaves. Minor Scales are 1-octave. Minor scales are melodic minor scales.
Violin - G Major, D Major, A minor
Viola - C Major, G Major, A minor
Cello - C Major, G Major, A minor
Bass - G Major, D Major (dropdown), A minor
Concert Orchestra
All Scales are 2-octave scales. Minor scales are melodic minor scales.
All strings: C Major, G Major, D Major, A Major, F Major, Bb Major, Eb major, A minor, D Minor (Bass scales may use drop-downs)
Senior High Strings
All Strings
Violin, viola, and cello scales are 3-octave scales. Bass scales are 2-octaves (no drop-downs)
Minor scales are melodic minor scales.
All strings: C Major, G Major, D Major, A Major, F Major, Bb Major, Eb major, F# minor, B minor, E minor, A minor, D minor, G minor, C minor
Junior High WBP
The scales are the same as the band region scales. The scales are the written pitch for each instrument.

Oboe - G, F, Eb, Ab - 1 octave // C, D, Bb, - 2 octaves, All Major
Bassoon - D, C, F, Bb, Ab, Eb // All Major, All 2 octaves
Bb Clarinet - A, G, E, F, Bb, Eb // All Major, All 2 octaves
Bass Clarinet - Eb - 1 octave // A, G, E, F, Bb - 2 octaves, All Major

Percussion may choose between Snare, Timpani, or Keyboard
Snare - Single stroke roll (#1), Double Stroke Open Roll (#2), Five Stroke (#7), Seven Stroke (#9), Single Paradiddle (#16)
Timpani - Tune the starting notes for the listed Exercise, beginning with the lowest pitch, strikes each drum, lowest to highest, consecutively, in a half note rhythm of Quarter note = 80
Keyboard/Mallet - G, D, C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab // 2 octaves, All Major
Senior High WBP
ALL Winds and Keyboard
Major Scales, All 2-octaves where possible. All Starting Pitch, do not transpose.
