Here is the breakdown of the 33 period week for each year group. It should allow you to see how many periods of study are allocated to each option, as well as those allocated to pupils core entitlements. Each period lasts 50 minutes with the exception of Registration (5mins) & FASE Time (25mins).
S3 Weekly Structure
English - 4 periods
Maths - 4 periods
5 Options - 4 periods
Core PE - 2 periods
Core RMPS - 2 periods
Lifeskills - 1 period
Registration & FASE - 1 period
S5/6 Weekly Structure
5 Options - 6 periods each (unless N5)
Core PE - 1 period
Lifeskills - 1 period

The school structure is what is typically known as a 2:2:2 school. This means pupils experience:
S1/2 - Broad General Education (BGE) - 2 Years
S3/4 - National Qualifications - 2 Years
S5/6 - Senior Phase - 2 years
