Music Appreciation

Attendance is important.  If you aren't here you may miss out on learning the concept being taught and an opportunity to ask questions.

Assignment Expectations:  I expect assignments to be turned in on time.  Check Google Classroom often.  That's a real-world expectation!  

Late work policy:  You will have the amount of sick days out of school to make up your assignments.  However, if you are just late turning in work you can earn up to 50% credit until we take the DCA for that unit. Once the DCA for a unit is taken, no late work will be accepted. 

Re-take Policy:  Students will have the opportunity to re-take a quiz/DCA only up to the next DCA.  I will not allow re-takes AFTER we have begun a new unit.   It's the student's responsibility to communicate with me about their desire to re-test.

I will expect mutual respect in my classroom where all people are treated with dignity.

I will require student participation and completion of all assignments.

I will plan to have the grade book updated in a timely manner.
