District PD Standard:
Teachers in the Fort Osage School District will maintain an effective learning environment and support students in demonstrating positive learner behaviors.
The Fort Osage School District provides support to students through the our Multi-Tiered System of Support, which is a tiered intervention system to meet the academic, behavioral and social-emotional needs of students. District staff are trained to understand and implement trauma informed practices and to provide effective Tier One instruction in all subject areas; Tier Two and Three supports and interventions are provided to individual students as determined by a comprehensive screening and intervention system. The District's MTSS Handbook provides more detailed information regarding this system.
