TUTORING OPTIONS: Fort Osage offers three different opportunities for students to complete their 50 hours of tutoring. Beginning the second semester of freshman year a student may sign up to tutor after school. They also may perform their tutoring beginning the summer after their freshman year of high school, or they may take the A+ Tutorial Class one semester either their junior or senior year.
After School
Visit the A+ Office to sign up for tutoring after school
Summer School
Complete the A+ Tutoring in Summer School Form to start the process (Available in April)
A+ Tutorial Class (Junior or Senior Year)
Enroll in the "A+ Tutorial" class one of the semesters your junior of senior year.
The primary purpose of the course is to provide A+ participants time during the school day to perform the 50 hours of tutoring required by the A+ program. Students must be enrolled in the A+ program and must meet the 2.5 minimum GPA and 95% attendance requirement. Enrollment priority will be given to students who are nearest graduation.
