We are excited to officially offer "Precess," an optional, supervised playtime before the school day begins. This initiative aims to provide students with a positive start to their day through free play. Please review the details below and sign both this permission slip and the student contract (linked below) to allow your child to participate. Please return both pages to your child’s homeroom teacher by August 29th, 2025.

Details of "Precess" 

● Start Date -September 8th, 2025

○ Monday and Wednesday: K, 2, 4 

○ Tuesday and Thursday: 1, 3, 5 

● Time: 7:10am - 7:30am (students can eat breakfast at 7:30am) 

○ Students go straight to 3 - 5 playground to check in with staff. 

○ Bus riders and students arriving at the very beginning of car line will be able to participate. 

○ All students who need breakfast will stop at 7:30. 

○ All students will check out with staff and go to class by 7:40. 

● Supervision: School Staff 

● Activities: Unstructured play, including games, sports, and social interactions on the playground

Safety and Supervision 

● Students will be supervised by school staff. 

● Staff will encourage students to work through conflict and will intervene if necessary. Any form of harassment will not be tolerated. 

● Students will follow the FCS Code of Conduct and our Leader In Me behavior expectations. ● All students participating will sign a student contract. 

● The school reserves the right to dismiss any student who does not comply with the FCS Code of Conduct.
