Mock Interviews are held yearly for third-level CTAE students and Internship/Mentorship Forsyth interns and are organized to give students practice and skill development in job interviewing. It provides an opportunity for students to participate in actual interviews with community representatives and receive feedback regarding their interview skills.
Your Mock Interview Week will be published at the beginning of the school year, and student preparation begins early. Career Development Coordinators will work with your CTAE teachers to schedule specific dates/times of interviews that week.
Your CTAE teachers and Career Development Coordinator will help you:
Know what to do before, during, and after mock interview week.
Understand all of the preparation materials available.
Prepare your interview folders well before your interview day.
Understand the importance of proper interview attire. Dress for Success Guidelines
Encourage you to enjoy the interview prep and process.
Interview skills continue to develop with each interview, and these practice interviews are a huge benefit.
Students never know who they will meet and what opportunities may come from the interview.
