Student Feedback:

"I would like to say a big fat thank you to the people who organized this competitive mega fun activity."

"I like how my group let other people speak."

"I thought it was a fun creative way to learn the Engineering Design Process."

"I used the Engineering Design Process because when we tried something new with our coding, we had to test and then see if we could improve the speed, timing, or length of the coding blocks."

"I used The Engineering Design Process in work because my group had to get creative and ask ourselves questions like how will we be able to make a circle for the Olympics. We had to test it and improve it."

"I used the engineering design process in my work when I worked through the problems that we had. Also, we communicated to solve them."

"We made the code then tested it. When we found mistakes or things that could be changed we changed or removed them. We worked on Trial and Error. When we almost had to restart completely we looked at it in a positive way and thought that we could make it better."

"We used the Engineering Design Process in our work because we had to ask ourselves questions like how do I use measurements to make this go the right direction?, how do I make this go the right speed? We brainstormed because we had to figure out what codes we wanted to use. We designed and created it by putting different codes together to make it do what we wanted it to. We tested to make sure that it was doing the right thing before we recorded it. Last but not least, we improved by deleting, switching around, and moving the codes to do the right thing over and over again. This is how my group and I used the Engineering Design Process."
