Eupleridae
There are 8 species in this family and they are all found in Madagascar. They are found in a variety of habitats including forests, swamps, deserts, and grasslands. Most of the species in this family have slender bodies, small heads, and pointed snouts. Most have soft gray or brown spotted or stripped fur. They eat small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects, and crustaceans.
