FOR FREE CURRENT NON-FICTION BOOKS

1. Go to the MAGNOLIA DATABASES- There’s also link under student resources on the Forrest County Schools website.

2. If you need to enter the password,  CHECK with the librarian or your teacher.  

3. At the top of the page click on Explore databases

4. Choose Explorer for your age group.

5. Choose "All databases" to the right of the word Searching.. just above the search box.

6. Deselect all databases.

7. Choose one or more of the e-book collection databases.  Choose only the collections that may pertain to your subject area.

8. Press SELECT in the bottom right corner, then close out the window by pressing the X in the corner of the window.

9. Type in your search criteria. 

10. In the box that reads

 All results        Articles and Journals        e-books          Reference         Video

Choose "e-books"

11. Click search and PRESTO- you’ve got a list of books about the subject you’re looking for.

If you click on the book, it can be linked to Google Classroom and Google Drive.
