Dress Code

All students must be dressed appropriately when participating in video activities including but not limited to: optional live lessons, video uploads, video tutorials, and club/organization video conferences.

No inappropriate gestures

Follow teacher’s chat protocols

Mute mic at the beginning of all video conferences

Practice modest and appropriate communication

- Follow your schedule to provide structure and dedicated time to each class, each day
- Decide on a dedicated place at home for learning
- Charge your Chromebook and gather all necessary supplies (pencil, paper)

Student Virtual Commitment Reminder (From the District)

Virtual Academy students need to make a major commitment and must interact with the content, discussion boards, and other course materials daily.
All students must keep the computer camera on during online lessons, check-ins, and assessments.
Adhere to the code of conduct of your school and behave with integrity and honesty while participating in an online class.
Read and acknowledge the district Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) regarding technology and the internet.
Students may be required to login for classes at assigned times.
Students may be required to come on campus for testing.
Complete coursework on time.
Ensure that you have the means to access the online courses on your own at all times.
Ensure that all tests and work is done by the student with if out the aid of others.

Face Covering & Student ID

Flex students are also required to wear a face covering when 6-feet social distancing is not possible. IDs must be worn above the waist at all times.
