Newsletter February 2021

The main objective of the EquALL(ING) project is to promote, through the adoption of an intersectional approach equal opportunities for women, men, migrants, young people and elderly people involved in adult lifelong learning education.

In January, the Project Website was launched with contents in English and in the six languages of the partners: French, Italian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, German.

In January and February the activities of the project came to life and became numerous and more interesting. The learners were made protagonists through their life stories. Some among the most significant ones, moving stories marked by difficulties in accessing education, were collected and shared, in English, with the partners.

Furthermore, language-matching groups have been organized by recruiting 5/6 people from each participant organization: groups of Albanian, Arabic, Farsi, French, Serbian, Spanish. A battery of questions has been created and shared to be used as a guide during the various online meetings, first internal partner group meetings, then inter-partner group meetings. Appropriate strategies have also been identified in order to allow to 'break the ice' and create a favorable affective climate which facilitates conversation and knowledge.

The partners go onto exchanging opinions, proposals and tools in order to face potential difficulties and to improve the performance of the EquALL(ING) Project.
