You can find additional information about the MIT Project Management simulation here. A case study document is available once you log in to the MIT Project Management simulation as a facilitator. Once you log in to your Class Code, go to the Teaching Materials page and then select the link: "System dynamics to understand and improve the performance of complex projects (PDF)."
If you have any questions, you can reach us at support@forio.com.
Navigate to https://forio.com/app/mit/project-management
Select the "Enter registration code to access teaching video and notes, or set up a new educator account" link
Tip: If you do not see this link, then you have already entered your Registration Code; otherwise.
Enter your Registration code, including the dash characters, into the "Registration code" entry field and select the Login button.
Select "Set up a new class" to create a facilitator login and Class Code.
Enter your preferred email address in the "Your email" field.

Enter a Class Code in the "Choose a class code" field. Your students will use this to join the simulation. Do not enter any space characters in your Class Code.
IMPORTANT: Please do not use your Registration Code as the Class Code. An unauthorized person can figure out that the Class Code is your Registration Code.
Select the “Login” button to automatically redirect you to the “Setup” page.
If you failed to log in, the Class Code may have already been used. Please enter a different Class Code. You can append a number scheme at the end of the Class Code.
If you need to continue the sim at another time, you can select the "Logout" button found at the top-right corner of the page.
To log in and continue where you left off, you can select the "Administer an existing class" link on the login page and use the same username and password that you generated from Steps 5 and 6 above.
Note: These are the continuation steps from the above "Steps to Create an Educator Account and Class Code"
In the Setup page, select the “Set up a new run” button.
Go to the “Simulation Setup -> Users” page.
The “Users” page will default to the "Manage Users" section, and you will see the message "No active users currently assigned”.

Select the button "Load User Information" to submit and upload the students' information that was entered in the box. A message "Users uploaded successfully" will be displayed when the submission is successful.
Select the "Manage Users" link. The “Manage Users” page will now list the students who were uploaded and are now activated to play.
Tip: You can use the "Deactivate User' link to deactivate the students’ login access to the simulation.
Return to the “Setup” page by selecting the “Simulation Setup” link.
On the “Setup” page, under the "2. Customize the simulation" section, select one of the four available Scenarios.

Select the “Class Results” link to view the student’s run results.
Select the ”Set up a new run” button to close the current run for all students and start a new run to be configured.
Tip: Do not select the button "Set up a new run" unless you are prepared to start a new one/ This will clear all your current settings, including Custom Scenario settings
Select “Teaching Materials” to view a PDF file on "System dynamics to understand and improve the performance of complex projects (PDF)".
Navigate to the MIT Project Management login page.

We recommend that you avoid reusing the same email addresses when you create a new Class Code.
You don't need a valid email address when you upload user information. You can upload any unique email addresses that don't exist in the simulation.
The names do not need to be the actual student names. For example, instead of using Jane Doe jdoe@university-name.edu, you can use login IDs like jdoe@platformwars.com, jdoe101@videogame.edu, or Name2019@anyuniquename.org.
Please ensure that the username before the @ is at least three characters long, and the password is also at least three characters long.
