WHAT DOES MY DANCER WEAR?
All cast members will be given a festive costume to wear on stage, dancers will need to arrive with costume and tights on, with dance shoes. We will provide a costume to borrow from Forevermore for the Holiday show and the measurements we took this fall are for our June recital and dancers will keep those costumes.
WHAT IF MY DANCER HAS A SHOE CHANGE?
Staff, Parent Volunteers, and Teaching Assistants will assist with any shoe changes
CAN MY CHILD WEAR JEWELRY?
NO jewelry of any kind! This includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings, anklets, etc. No fingernail or toenail polish!
All Jingle Jam costumes must be returned during Holiday Spirit Week (December 15-20)
We appreciate your help getting everything back to us quickly so we can prepare for the next round of performances.
Winter Break runs from December 21 through January 4. We hope your families enjoy a restful, memory-making stretch together. Classes resume after break.
Please arrive in costume dance shoes in bag. For Jingle Jam, costumes are borrowed from Forevermore and are returned at the end of the show.
Ensure your dancer has all of the proper shoes.
No jewelry, gum, or nail polish.
All routines will wear their hair in a low bun parted at the dancer's middle of head.
No curls or bangs should be seen.
Due to a restrictive time schedule, there will be no special hair styles (Hairspray and gel are your friends!)
Hair neatly combed.
Dance shoes unless otherwise specified by teacher.
Compression shorts for quick changes.
All dancers should wear make-up on stage.
Eye, lip and cheek color are very important as the harsh stage lights can wash a dancer's face out.
