In our ENL/ELA classes we will practice English grammar and skills through reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It is very important that students come to class every day and complete all assignments. We will use a number of tools in class in addition to the tools listed on the Student Resources page.

We will use Quill.org to practice our grammar and writing. Quill will be used for classwork, homework, and quizzes. Quill is not available as an app; it can only be used as a website.

Games to Learn English is such a fun way to practice your English skills! There are games to practice vocabulary, verb tenses, sentence structure, speaking phrases, and more!
Duolingo is a website and an app to help with learning English. You will practice vocabulary, speaking, and spelling. Duolingo is free and covers many topics including travel, restaurants, and school.
EF English Grammar Guide also provides free grammar help. You can choose a topic and review definitions, examples, and explanations.
ESL Gold has free resources to practice reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English. The homepage can be translated to help navigate the activities and resources.
ESL Lounge has about 25 reading comprehension exercises per level organized by level. You read a short text and then answer some comprehension questions. This is a great way to practice reading and answering questions!
