What is the Forest Hills Science and Innovation Expo?

The Science and Innovation Expo is a community event where you are invited to interact with innovative science and maker projects created by the students of the Forest Hills School District.

Who can participate?

Fifth grade through 12th grade students are invited to participate in the Science Expo. Kindergarten through 12th grade students are invited to participate in the Innovation Expo.


What is the difference between the Science and Innovation categories?

The Science Expo is a scored event where students create their project through the scientific method, and share results in the form of a report, display board, and/or models that they have created. {Insert link to Science Expo info guide}

The Innovation Expo consists of a collection of DIY projects where students showcase their projects and will receive verbal feedback. Projects will not be scored. See our Innovation Expo Participant Manual for more details!


When and where is the the Forest Hills Science & Innovation Expo?

It is virtual this year. It will be on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021.
