Dr. Roy plans to take a doctoral student for the Fall of 2026. See here for more information about the program:  PhD in Clinical Psychology 

Successful students in the PERL lab: 

• Have a strong interest in studying emotional and behavioral dysregulation in children and adolescents and/or associated parent factors

• Have worked previously in a research lab for at least two years

• Have worked with children and/or adolescents and/or families

• Possess strong writing skills

• Are excited for doctoral level clinical and research training.

Dr. Roy may also consider taking a Master's student in the Masters of Science in Clinical Research Methods program for Fall 2026.

As of September 2025, Dr. Roy is not accepting undergraduate research assistants for the PERL Lab.
