Beginning in their first year at Fordham, participants will wear a medical-grade sleep watch for 14 days while also completing nightly surveys about daily sleep/wake times and activities, feelings, and behaviors. Participants also complete a survey before the 14-day data collection and another after the 14 days they wear the sleep watch. In the spring semester, students repeat the same procedures as the fall. In addition, biological health indicators such as height, weight, hair, and dried blood spot samples are collected to measure physiological stress and biological functioning. This routine will be the same for all four years until students have graduated college.
Please do not take the sleep watch off!!!
