About the Conference
This conference examined the multifaceted effects of violence throughout the human lifespan and present proactive measures to mitigate adverse outcomes. The conference focused particularly on gun violence, school violence, and sexual and gender-based violence.
Conference Submissions
In preparation for this forum, the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service Institute for Women & Girls and the International Health Awareness Network (IHAN) opened a call for student policy papers and research posters to contribute to the multigenerational dialogue surrounding the impact of violence on health and education. A panel of faculty and community leaders reviewed each submission. The top papers were presented at the conference.
