We recruit PhD and MS students who want to pursue research on borderline PD, anxiety, and depression. Interest in how psychopathology changes over time (including both short and long intervals), personality, self-harm, and/or stress sensitivity is important. From a methodological angle, a background (or interest) in experience sampling methods, clinical interviewing, and/or latent variable modeling (e.g., confirmatory factor analysis) is helpful.
Our PhD students are part of the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at Fordham. I typically like to work with students who envision research & teaching being a big part of their career (although plans can/do change, of course). Our MS students are enrolled in the Clinical Research Masters program; this degree is intended to boost trainees' research credentials for PhD program applications. You can check here if our lab is currently recruiting for graduate students.
We welcome undergraduate students to get involved with our research projects. Just send us an email describing your interest in our work, ways you might like to be involved, and any relevant previous experiences (including coursework).
