denominator - The bottom number of a fraction. It is the total number of equal parts in the whole.
multiplicative inverse - a number you multiply by to make 1. Example ½ x 2 = 1, so ½ is the multiplicative inverse of 2.
reciprocal - another name for a number's multiplicative inverse
