My Social Justice project consists of how racism and oppression have been institutionalized and severely affect Black Americans in white collar job fields. I chose to do this because I plan to acquire a white-collar job. I plan to be lawyer in the future. I am not sure of what type of lawyer, but I want to follow that career by becoming a politician as well. I wanted to see what I and my fellow peers might have to experience, as well as what we can do to combat such obstacles. Also, I was interested in the process which Black Americans go through to get to a white collar job. This exposed the deficits in which are placed to act as blockades for Black Americans. Social Justice themes that are related to my topic are proper role of government, Dignity of a Human, and Option for the Poor and Vulnerable.
