What can be done?

In order to be a gender-inclusive environment, Fontbonne needs to begin by implementing an all-gender bathroom accessible to students. This process can be as simple as relabeling one of Fontbonne's single-gender facilities as all-gender. Why does Fontbonne need a gender-inclusive restroom? The minority of Fontbonne's student body who does not identify as female is being faced with the disparages that come with having to use a bathroom that does not align with one's assigned-at-birth gender, including gender dysphoria

Work to understand trans culture in and outside of the Fontbonne comunity. Educate yourself, spread awareness, show respect, listen to trans voices, and express a willingness to understand.
