FHS Student Council

What do we do?

We plan and run the following events:

Homecoming

Two Red Cross Blood Drives

Winter Formal

Staff vs. Senior Basketball Game

Teacher Appreciation Week

and whatever else you would like!

Why do we do it?

We take pride in Fond du Lac High School and in our FUTURE.

We have a STRONG DESIRE to make positive change at Fond du Lac High School and in our community.

We know it takes passion and a lot of effort to make that happen and are willing to MEET THE CHALLENGE.

We want to inspire the best out of those around us in order to build a closer sense of community and lead everyone toward lives of active engagement in both our school and community.

We want to change the world and know that requires starting in our corner of it.

If you are looking for a way to get involved in the high school, this is the best club to be a part of the many important events throughout the school year. If you join Student Council, you are the voice for your peers, and it is your responsibility to make the school a fun place for everyone. From dances to blood drives, we create fun and meaningful events for students to attend to make their school years a little brighter. Personally, Student Council has been the most beneficial club I have joined. It has taught me leadership, empathy, communication skills and has brought me friendships that will last for a lifetime. What you put into Student Council will not only drastically benefit your school but also your own personal skills.

Student Council has been an awesome experience for me. I've learned a lot about leadership and myself though this once in a lifetime opportunity. Through working with my peers as president, I have made many connections and lifelong friendships. Additionally, working with administrators and faculty members has taught me valuable communication skills and broken me out of my shell. Student Council has the ability and resources to create the change that you believe in; not only in the high school but in the community as well. If you're looking for a club, that has endless opportunities for yourself and others, Student Council is the one for you!
