Introduction

The geospatial backbone of the Diversion-Runoff Calculator (DRC) is the Utah Water Right Distribution Network. The Water Right Network (WRN) is provided by the Utah Division of Water Rights (DWRi).

The Diversion-Runoff Calculator (DRC) requires an augmented version of the WRN stored locally in a geodatabase (.gdb) in order to run. The WRN is subject to change, thus the geospatial inputs to the DRC must be updated periodically in order to reflect these changes.

The steps involved in updating the DRC results are the following:

1. Initial DRC User Setup & Data Acquisition (one-time setup)

2. WRN Refresh

3. Regenerate 'DistanceTo' Tables

4. Create a new GeoDatabase
