Over the two and a half days, teachers will actively, collaboratively and creatively engage in professional development and training with Dr Jennifer Hartley. We will have the exciting opportunity to explore a variety of techniques and approaches that can be used immediately in the classroom to better our students' craft, understanding and purpose in Drama. 

We will:

• work between game theory and explorative exercises that build into creative devised pieces quickly and effectively

• look at the importance of our own stories as a foundation for building empathy and resilience and practical exercises which promote inclusion and a sense of belonging

• explore nurturing of students' creative potential and their individual artistic identity

• analyse how theory and practice can be combined in exploring how theatre can change lives, exploring how to use the arts to explore a range of social topics and engage with the community
