I teach Health Science 1:Foundations of Health Care Professions and Health Science 3: Human Structure, Function and Disease. I have been teaching for four years and worked as an occupational therapist for 20 years prior with work experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient services in assisted-living and mental health. I love sharing my experiences with my students and hope to fascinate them when learning about healthcare careers and the human body. I also serve as the advisor to HOSA-Future Health Professions club and enjoy encouraging students to learn outside of the classroom, excel in competition and serve our community. In my free time, I love to travel, read, hike with my husband and visit my children, Hannah and Joshua, at the University of South Carolina.
