I am happy to be a part of the Nation Ford Family. I currently teach the Project Lead The Way Biomedical Sciences Pathway courses. I came to the classroom through an alternative licensure program and have been in the classroom since 2013. I was blessed with many opportunities for travel growing up as a member of a military family. I attended Clemson University where I earned a BS in Physics with a minor in Environmental Science. After graduating from Clemson, I entered active duty as an Officer in the United States Air Force. I spent 15 years as a member of the active duty and then reserve forces. I had the opportunity to perform duties as a Space Physicist, Executive Officer, Protocol Officer and Public Affairs Officer. During this time I was also afforded the opportunity to earn a MA in Management from Webster University and complete a number of professional military programs through Air University. I look forward to facilitating students’ opportunities to hone the development of their Biomedical Science content knowledge and 21st Century Skills that will help them achieve their goals for the future.
