Originally from Belmont, North Carolina, I received my undergraduate degree in Biology from Western Carolina University. I later went on to receive my Masters in School Counseling and Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. I have taught in several schools in South Carolina and Mississippi but call Fort Mill home and I deeply enjoy teaching Biomedical Science here at FMHS.

Hi! My name is Erin Barnott and I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. I earned my Undergraduate Degree in Middle Grade Education from Eastern Kentucky University in 2014. I then earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017. I have worked for the Fort Mill School District my entire career and truly love being a part of this community. I taught middle school science and social studies for five years at Springfield Middle School before moving to Fort Mill High School. I love teaching science, I have taught Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry and now Biomedical Science. I currently live in Fort Mill with my husband Andrew, and our son Boone. In my free time I love to read and spend time with my family.
