This is my 25th year teaching business, however, I moved to South Carolina from Pennsylvania in 2019, so this is my 6th year at NAFO where I teach Advanced Personal Finance and Accounting.
I am a graduate of Princeton University (undergrad), Temple University (Masters) and Walnut Hill College (Associates Degree in Restaurant Management). I also worked for The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School for 8 years as a business instructor for their Global Youth Program. I worked in management jobs in hospitality, fitness and real estate for 16 years before I became a teacher so I bring a lot of life experience to my classes.
My husband and I moved to Fort Mill from Pennsylvania in 2019 to be near our two children who relocated to the Charlotte area after college. My daughter, her husband and my grandson live in Fort Mill and we have another grandbaby on the way. My son lives in Charlotte and is getting his master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
I am an active volunteer at the Anne Springs Close Greenway, where I also keep my two horses, Sunny and Luna. In addition, I spend a lot of free time riding on the horse trails, hiking and hanging in the dog park with my dog, Dixie.
