Hello and Welcome!
I’m so excited that you’re here! I’ll be your librarian for the 2025 - 2026 school year, and I can’t wait to learn and grow with you in the library. This year, we’ll explore a wide variety of books and stories, dive into research, enjoy storytelling, and engage in fun STEAM projects. It’s going to be a fantastic year!
Before becoming a librarian, I was a stay-at-home mom to my three children. We visited the library weekly and read countless books together—those special moments helped spark my passion for children's literature and early learning. Later, I worked as a kindergarten assistant for three years, where I continued to foster a love of reading and learning in young students. I have a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Florida. I will graduate with my Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina in December 2025. Originally from Pennsylvania, I’ve called South Carolina home for the past seven years.
I’m passionate about helping students develop a lifelong love of reading and a strong connection to the library. I look forward to a wonderful year together! 🐝
