My Classroom Message:
I just feel so incredibly blessed to have this opportunity to teach Kindergarten again this year. I greatly look forward to sharing this wonderful adventure of our 2023-2024 school year with you at St. Martha School. Teaching is truly one of my greatest joys and together we will create such a memorable year for your child. I simply cannot wait to inspire creativity, encourage imagination and share my love of learning. My teaching philosophy in my classroom has always been to teach my students first and foremost the importance of reaching for the stars by spreading our wings to fly, because we'll never know what we can accomplish together, unless we work really hard to try!!

A Little About Me:
I would like to share a little bit about myself with you before we start our journey together! My name is Laura Crawley. My husband Ryan and I are originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and we moved to Fort McMurray in 2006. We have a nine year-old very energetic, sweet little boy Hunter, an eleven year-old precious little girl Chloe and two adorable Miniature Schnauzer puppies named Gunner and Charlee. There is truly never a dull moment in our home, that is for sure.
I received both of my Bachelor of Education; as well as my Masters of Education in Leadership & Administration, from The University of Prince Edward Island and I have been teaching for sixteen memorable years. I taught grade five at Father Turcotte for seven years and this will be my tenth year of teaching Kindergarten at St. Martha School.
This has always been a huge dream of mine, for even as long as any of my family members can remember. At just five years old, I would write in my journal often that I just could not wait to teach Kindergarten when I grew up. I am greatly looking forward to sharing this year of learning with you all and to making special memories together.
