Know Before You Go: Information about Spring Statewide Testing
Student is attempting to access the test outside the state of Florida
The browser has security features preventing users outside of Florida from taking the FAST PM tests
Reach out to the Testing APs and let them know of this error and where the student is located
Parent has not completed the testing compliance forms
Must complete forms in FOCUS Portal to be able to test
Student is attempting to use an old version of the testing browser
Must run any system update for Windows
Go to settings --> Windows Update --> Install now
Restart computer
Uninstall the old testing browser
Re-download the latest Testing Browser (directions here)
Student has a Windows computer that has S-Mode
Must turn off S-mode to download apps from the internet
Follow these instructions to fix this error
Microsoft Defender Error- Unrecognized App
Student downloaded the browser from flfast.org
When they click on the file to install, this pop up appears
Click on the "More info" button on the pop up window.
Choose the button "Run anyway".
The app will then install onto the computer.
Student is attempting download on a Chromebook
Chromebooks can not be used for FAST testing
Must find a different device for testing
iPad or Windows device
