GRIT: The Key to Your Success at FLVS
If you have a question not listed here, please reach out to your Law Studies Instructor.
What is the pace for Law Studies?
For Law Studies, students should submit a minimum of 2-3 assessments each week. Weekly submission of work is expected to show progress.
How can I contact my teacher?
You can contact your teacher by phone, text or email. Teacher contact information is located on the class home page in Educator.
What is the collaboration assignment?
A collaboration assignment is your opportunity to work with classmates on a topic related to Law Studies and is completed during any live lesson listed on the live lesson calendar located on the class announcement page. The collaboration can be completed at any time in class as long as it is submitted prior to taking the final exam.
Where do I submit my work?
All work is submitted in the Educator grade book. Once you have completed your work you can attach your saved file or copy and paste into the student comment box in the grade book. Don't forget to check the "submit for grading" box and then SUBMIT!
You will need to turn in classwork each week and we would recommend that you aim to submit 2 or more assignments per week. At FLVS a week is defined as a period of 7 days.
One tricky thing about FLVS weeks is that you are the one that decides when your week starts based on when you turn in work! For example, if you turn in some work on a Tuesday you would need to plan to turn in more work on or before the next Tuesday. You can work as often as you would like throughout the week. Class is open for you to work in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
