Your grace period is typically the first 2 weeks of the course during which you can see if this course is the right fit for you. (This first two weeks is also referred to as the add/drop period.)

Discussion based assessments (DBAs) are mandatory assessments. You must pass each DBA to be issued a grade in the course
DBAs are done by appointment preferably
ALL assignments preceding the DBA must be completed before your DBA
Completing the DBA review guide is VERY helpful and recommended before scheduling your DBA- these are found on the class help site
FLVS will not allow you to do more than one DBA per day
DO NOT SKIP DBA 1 (which is 2.06)!
Live lessons are conducted on Zoom and taught by FLVS Law Studies teachers
Log-in using the Zoom info from your course home page
Some live lessons are "for credit" meaning you can attend and receive credit for the assignment covered (if you have already completed the assignment you can get collaboration credit!)
You are welcome to redo any assignment to try to raise your grade
Make sure to REVIEW THE LESSON again and take additional notes first (use the feedback on written work!)
To resubmit your assignment, you will access it through your grade book (from the main menu). Click on the assignment, read the comments, and upload a new file for your revised work (or re-take the quiz).
For written work- leave the old file- do not delete it. This is important so we can compare the two files if needed
You can redo an assessment up to 2 times
Plan to work EVERY week
DO NOT go more than 7 days without submitting work
COMMUNICATION is key- Respond to messages within 24 hours
Check your grade book frequently and resubmit as needed
Check your class email and FLVS email regularly
Complete modules in order, do not skip written work, and complete the DBA’s when you reach them- only one DBA per day is allowed
