With your guardian, read over the Welcome Email sent by your teacher. Come up with your pace plan and weekly schedule.
Course Expectations/Goals: Weekly Submissions in order - Students are expected to work weekly in the course and in the order the assessments appear. Students should submit at least one assignment per week to stay active in the course. 3+ weeks of no course activity may result in a withdrawal from the course. *Our Guided Notes are highly recommended, full of lesson tutorials, and examples. They can be used on any exam.
Pace Information: Pace Charts are available for each segment, including an accelerated pace. The pace charts follow a traditional school schedule. Individual pace charts for specific end dates can be made upon request. Create your own pace chart and your own Weekly Schedule.
Live Lesson Calendar: Live and recorded sessions are provided on the announcement page calendar. You can earn collaboration credit for attending, which is optional. Students are required to use their Zoom FLVS login when attending.
Academic Integrity- Academic integrity means that all work you submit is created by you and is an original representation of your work. It means that what you submit is your own work.
🤖Watch this GAI video. Review the FLVS policy on Academic Integrity that you agreed to when you signed up for your courses.
Seat time policy: "To ensure adequate time for comprehension and mastery, students must work in a course segment consistently for a minimum of 14 days starting from the date of the first submission. There is a separate 14-day time period for each segment and these periods cannot overlap. Twenty-eight days of work is required, at minimum, for a two-semester course."
