We went over getting signed up for NaNoWriMo, if you weren’t already. Members took over to help each other on areas they were struggling on, writer’s block, etc. for NaNoWriMo.

Writing Prompt (Optional)
2 sentence suspense story prompts! Find the directions in the presentation, and the prompts/space to write them, within your journal for meeting #2.
Lesson on Character Development (Optional)
To make a well-rounded character, you must know who they are at the core. What makes them tick? What motivates and inspires them? What scares them? What experiences have they had? This all shapes the decisions they’d make throughout the story. Think of a character from a favorite book, or from your favorite piece of writing you’ve done, and analyze them. Find the directions, an example, and space to complete your own, within your journal on meeting #2.
The time has come! If you’d like to submit a piece of your writing for possible publication on The Writer’s Guild website, our student editors are ready to begin!
