Module Exams across FLVS are considered summative assessments and therefore should only be reset if there is a tech issue with the student, if the student scored unusually low for their abilities, or some other reason that impacted the student's score.
It used to require IL approval to reset module exams but that is no longer the case. Teachers have the autonomy to make those decisions. However, these resets should definitely be the exception and not the rule. It should also NEVER be shared with a student ahead of time that a module exam can be reset.
Again, this is an effort to make sure we are all on the same page when it comes to the learning expectations of our students and align with the language in the Student/Parent Handbook and the rest of the courses across the organization.
