How often do I need to work?
How often do I need to work?
- You will need to turn in classwork each week and we would recommend that you aim to do a few modules each week. At FLVS a week is defined as a period of 7 days.
- One tricky thing about FLVS weeks is that you are the one that decides when your week starts based on when you turn in work! For example, if you turn in some work on a Tuesday you would need to plan to turn in more work on or before the next Tuesday. You can work as often as you would like throughout the week. Class is open for you to work in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Your side navigation bar in your Driversed.com Student Dashboard will list what assignment to do next and where to complete the assignment as you work your way through the Modules in your DriversEd.com Dashboard inside of class! It is a great idea to consider when it will be best for you to work in the class. Then schedule a reminder into your cell phone, or to put a note somewhere that you will see regularly as a reminder to work in the class each week!

- Yes. This class will count as the one online class that you need in order to graduate.

- Parents/Guardians: If you do not yet have a guardian account, you can use this link https://www.flvs.net/flex/resources/parent-guardian-account to set up your own account.
How does this help me to get my permit/license?
How does this help me to get my permit/license?
- If you finished the blue Complete Enrollment portion of your Driversed.com Dashboard then this class will count as the TLSAE class (also know as the drug and alcohol course and test), which is a requirement for a first time driver in the state of Florida. You will receive a message in your FLVS main message box on flvs.net within 24 hours of your final grade being issued that contains the website as well as your unique username and password so that you may access your TLSAE course completion receipt and your Class E Knowledge (permit) test.
- Please note that your permit test is not a part of the 10 modules that you complete in this FLVS Driver Education/Traffic Safety class, your final exam is not your learner permit test. You will receive a message in your FLVS main message box on flvs.net within 24 hours of your final grade being issued that contains the website as well as your unique username and password so that you may access your TLSAE course completion receipt and your Class E Knowledge (permit) test. ***Please note the Licensing tab can take up to 48 hours after your teacher sends your completion to become active.

You will receive an auto-message from the system in your FLVS main message box on flvs.net within 24 hours of your final grade being issued that contains the website as well as your unique username and password so that you may access your TLSAE (drug and alcohol) course completion receipt and your Class E Knowledge (permit) test. Remember, if you take your final exam over the weekend, you will want to check your FLVS message box on Tuesday of the following week. Teachers are out of the office on weekends, so there is a slight delay in processing final grades on the weekends.
