The Church has entrusted Las Rosas Foundation with the care of the poorest and most helpless seniors in the country. From that mandate is born the pastoral mission of accompanying all residents in the encounter with the Lord, guiding them on the path of prayer and spirituality and giving them every day a hope of heaven.
The Church has entrusted Fundación Las Rosas (Las Rosas Foundation) with the care of the poorest and most disadvantaged elders in the country. From this mandate, the pastoral mission arises, to accompany all residents in the encounter with the Lord, guiding them on the path of prayer and spirituality, and giving them a hope of Heaven day by day.
Since January 2021, the Archdiocese of Santiago, through Decree Prot. No. 196/2020, has appointed Father Carlos Irarrázaval Errázuriz as National Chaplain and Executive Vice President of Fundación Las Rosas Board of Directors. It has been been entrusted to him to ensure the fulfillment of the institutional mission of fraternal help to the most unprotected elderly people.
Guided by Father Carlos, religious and collaborators that work in the 28 nursing homes throughout Chile, carry out their work of care, affection and accompaniment of the residents and, at the same time, with the Eucharist and prayer activities, that allow us to live the experience of God in our hearts: "I assure you that everything you did for one of my brothers, even the youngest, they did for me" (Matthew 25:40)
