I am David Mowery the Academic Interventionist aka Graduation Coach for Pepperel High School.  My job is to work with students, parents, and teachers to help navigate the path to graduation.  Whether it is helping 8th graders transition to the high school campus and develop habits for academic success or getting a senior over their last hurdles to earn a diploma, I am here to help.

• Pepperell High School Learning Lab

If your student is currently enrolled in a recovery course in the Pepperell High School Learning Lab,  myself along with Mrs.Weaver will be assisting your student to recover credits they previously failed in order to move them forward to the ultimate goal of graduation.  The Learning Lab offers recovery courses in all subjects using the online Edgenuity software platform.  The courses in Edgenuity meet all Georgia Department of Education standards and have been further audited by Floyd County educators to meet local expectations. It is possible to recover multiple courses in a single semester only if your student works hard and is dedicated everyday.

Enrollment in recovery courses via the Learning Lab at Pepperell High School is a second-chance education opportunity and a privilege. Your student must abide by all the expectations of the Learning Lab to maintain their enrollment and be successful.
