College Algebra is taught through Georgia Northwester Technical College in the Fall semester and gives students a chance to gain college credit as well as high school credit for FREE!
Students study functions, graphs, and problem-solving techniques for a variety of situations. In particular, we discuss linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, radical, absolute value, exponential, and logarithmic functions. We tie them to real world situations such as estimating the time that several teams working together will take, how much saline to add to a medicine solution to create the necessary ratio, planning long term financial investments, etc.
Because this is a DE course, lessons and assignments can be found in GNTC's Blackboard and Google Classroom.
