Margaret Henderson, Ed.S.
This is my third year teaching at Armuchee High school, and I'm very excited to be part of such an excellent school. I have taught FACS for 20 years after a career as a clinical nutritionist. The transition from nutrition to food science was an easy one as both are heavily science related. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in nutrition and obtained a master's degree from Lesley University in technology in education. I completed my education specialist degree from UGA in workforce education. I have two grown children and a cat named Pablo! I really enjoy teaching the food science pathway because it is a great beginning for so many types of food and food science related careers as well as teaching practical life skills.
