Important Information:

School begins at 7:55 a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 8:05. Doors open at 7:15 & breakfast will be served at school and students will eat in their classrooms if they choose to eat at school. 

Block Schedules: Your child’s daily schedule will be placed in the front cover of their agenda binder.

Homework:

Homework will be given out every Friday for Reading & Math. It will be due back to school completed daily. We will check homework in class daily.

Other items:

Your child’s email address is their first and last name @floydstudent.net 

(e.g.: sarahsmith@floydstudent.net) Their email password is three zeros followed by their lunch number (e.g.: 00023145).

Please be sure that any money that comes to school is in an envelope with your child’s name on it. 

Students are encouraged to bring a snack and a reusable water bottle to recess each day. 

If you have a transportation change, you are always welcome to email us or send it to glestransport@boe.net

   All changes in transportation for your child MUST be written in your child’s communication folder.

Our weekly 3rd grade newsletter will go home at the beginning of each month and will also be available on our website. 

All graded and important papers will be sent home in their Monday communication folder.
